Terms of Use

Effective Date: September 15, 2026 · Last Updated: September 15, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the PXLA QR Code Generator and related website services operated by PXLA TECH LLC ("PXLA," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the website or QR Code Generator, you agree to these Terms.

1. Free Service

The PXLA QR Code Generator is a free online utility. There is no charge for generating or downloading QR codes, and use does not create a subscription or payment obligation. PXLA may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue features.

2. Purpose of the Service

The service creates QR codes from information users provide, including URLs, text, Wi-Fi credentials, telephone numbers, email, contact, SMS, geographic, event, and other supported formats. Users decide whether a QR code and its contents are appropriate.

3. QR Code Information

PXLA does not claim ownership of information entered into the generator. You remain responsible for encoded information. The service is designed so PXLA does not retain generator content, including Wi-Fi passwords used to construct a code.

4. Sensitive Information

Anyone who obtains or scans a QR code may access its contents. Do not publicly distribute codes containing passwords, private credentials, confidential information, or other sensitive information unless intended. PXLA is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your decision to create, display, distribute, publish, print, download, or share such a code.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly. You may not knowingly use it for fraud, phishing, malware, credential theft, impersonation, unauthorized access, deceptive practices, harassment, threats, intellectual-property infringement, unlawful content, or other violations of law. You are responsible for the destination, content, accuracy, legality, and consequences of codes you create.

6. QR Code Reliability

PXLA attempts to follow QR encoding standards but cannot guarantee every code works with every scanner, camera, device, operating system, printer, network, or third-party application. URLs, credentials, destinations, printing, resizing, cropping, damage, contrast, and image quality may affect scanning. Test important codes before relying on them.

7. Static QR Codes

Unless expressly stated otherwise, codes generated by the service are static. PXLA does not guarantee that information in a previously generated code can later be edited; changing it may require generating a new code.

8. No Storage or Recovery Guarantee

Because PXLA does not retain generator content, PXLA may be unable to recover a code or its information after you leave or refresh the generator. You are responsible for downloading, saving, and backing up codes you wish to keep.

9. Third-Party Content and Destinations

PXLA does not control websites, applications, networks, telephone services, email providers, payment services, or other destinations referenced by user-created codes. A generated code does not indicate PXLA endorsement, verification, operation, or guarantee of its destination.

10. Intellectual Property

The PXLA website, branding, interface, original graphics, software, documentation, and other supplied materials may be protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer PXLA intellectual property. Users may use, download, print, and distribute codes they lawfully create, subject to applicable law and rights associated with encoded content.

11. Availability

PXLA strives to maintain a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The website or features may be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, hosting problems, security events, updates, or circumstances outside PXLA's control. PXLA may change or discontinue the free service.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." PXLA does not guarantee availability, universal scanning, continued third-party destinations, suitability for a particular purpose, or an error-free service. Nothing excludes protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PXLA TECH LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use or inability to use the service, including losses from user content, destinations, credentials, sharing, third-party services, or failure to retain a code.

14. Privacy

Use of the service is also subject to the PXLA Privacy Policy, which describes the service's privacy-focused design and PXLA's use of Google Analytics. Read the Privacy Policy.

15. Abuse and Security

PXLA may take reasonable actions to protect the website, infrastructure, users, and public against abuse, automated attacks, security threats, or unlawful activity. Nothing grants permission to interfere with, maliciously reverse engineer, overload, damage, disable, or circumvent PXLA security.

16. Changes to These Terms

PXLA may update these Terms as the service evolves. The effective or Last Updated date will change when Terms are materially revised. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

18. Contact
