Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 15, 2026 · Last Updated: September 15, 2026
PXLA TECH LLC ("PXLA," "we," "us," or "our") operates the PXLA QR Code Generator and related website services. PXLA designed the service with privacy as a core principle: it is free, requires no account, and is designed so information entered to create a QR code is not collected or stored by PXLA.
1. Information Entered Into the QR Code Generator
PXLA does not collect, transmit, store, retain, sell, share, or have access to the content you enter into the QR Code Generator. This may include Wi-Fi network names and passwords, website URLs, plain text, email addresses, telephone numbers, SMS content, contact or vCard information, geographic information, calendar or event information, and other information you choose to encode. QR code content is processed to generate the code in your browser, and PXLA does not maintain a database of generated QR codes or the information used to create them.
2. Wi-Fi Passwords and Other Sensitive QR Content
PXLA does not save or retain your Wi-Fi password. It is used only to construct the requested QR code. The same principle applies to other generator content: PXLA does not use it for analytics, advertising, profiling, marketing, or any unrelated purpose. Anyone who can scan a QR code may be able to access its encoded information.
3. Accounts and Registration
The service does not require an account, username, name, email address, telephone number, or payment information. The QR Code Generator is provided free of charge.
4. Google Analytics
PXLA uses Google Analytics for general website analytics, including visits, pages visited, usage patterns, browser and device characteristics, approximate geographic and traffic information, and navigation patterns. PXLA does not use generated QR contents for Google Analytics. QR code content, including Wi-Fi passwords, is not intentionally transmitted to Google Analytics. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies under Google's own terms and privacy practices.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
PXLA does not use cookies to store QR code content. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers for measurement. These technologies are not used to retrieve information encoded in QR codes.
6. Advertising
PXLA does not use generator content for advertising or advertising personalization, and does not sell QR generator information to advertisers or data brokers. Material changes will be reflected in this policy.
7. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
PXLA does not sell Wi-Fi passwords, QR code contents, contact information, or other content entered into the generator, and does not use QR code content to create user profiles.
8. Data Retention
PXLA does not retain information entered into the generator. Because this information is not stored by PXLA, PXLA ordinarily has no stored generator content to retrieve, modify, sell, disclose, or delete. Google Analytics information is subject to the retention settings of PXLA's Analytics property and Google's policies.
9. Security
PXLA takes reasonable steps to minimize unnecessary collection. No website, browser, device, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Users are responsible for controlling access to QR codes containing sensitive information.
10. Third-Party Websites and Services
QR codes may point to third-party websites, telephone numbers, applications, or other services. PXLA does not control those third parties or their privacy practices. Once you leave the PXLA website, the destination service's privacy practices apply.
11. Children's Privacy
The service is a general-purpose utility and is not directed specifically toward children. PXLA does not knowingly request children to submit personal information or intentionally maintain profiles of children using the service.
12. Do Not Track and Browser Privacy Controls
Browsers may provide Do Not Track, cookie blocking, or other privacy controls. Users may block or delete cookies through browser settings. Google also provides tools for controlling or opting out of certain Analytics measurement.
13. California Privacy Information
PXLA does not sell or retain generator content for profiling, marketing, or commercial resale. California residents may contact PXLA with questions. Nothing in this policy limits privacy rights that may apply under applicable law.
14. International Visitors
PXLA operates its service from the United States. Visitors from another jurisdiction are responsible for understanding laws applicable to their use. Google Analytics may process information according to Google's international data-processing practices.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
PXLA may update this policy when the service, technology, analytics configuration, or applicable legal requirements change. When material changes are made, the Last Updated date will be revised.
16. Contact
Questions regarding this Privacy Policy or PXLA's privacy practices may be directed to PXLA TECH LLC through the contact information provided on the PXLA website.
